Do you struggle with securing safety eyes, noses or joints to your creations? This Safety Eye Tool is the perfect tool for on-the-go crafting!
It is small in size and lightweight. It has 5 different sized holes for most of the eyes and noses that are available (6mm – 50mm). It has a slight recess in each hole to assist with seating the washers. It works well with both hand press washers and the hard machine washers.
It comes with a convenient bead chain to attach to your craft bag for safe keeping or to your keychain for on-the-go creating.
Instructions
- Lay your tool on a flat surface.
- Place your washer over a suitably sized hole.
- Place your eye, nose or joint in the correct spot on your creation.
- Line up the shank of the eye/nose to the hole of your washer.
- Once aligned push down, with either fingers or your palm, to attach initially then again to fully snap in place to your handmade creation.
Remember to check that both eyes are inserted the same depth by counting the ridges on the shanks.

Materials
Please note these are 3D printed by me with PLA and may have slight defects and variations out of my control. Colours may vary slightly. Long exposure to direct sunlight may cause the PLA to soften or the colour to fade.
*PLA is the most widely used plastic filament material in 3D printing. Its low melting point, high strength, low thermal expansion, good layer adhesion, and high heat resistance when annealed make it an ideal material for this purpose.
Please allow for slight colour variances due to the colour of your computer monitor and photo lighting.
*Safety eyes and washers are not included with the tool.
